![]() ![]() Among others (there are plenty of interesting japan only games that don't have fan translations as far as I know) The 2 Chibi Robo games (the second being Japan only but with a fan translation) Elite Beat Agents and it's 2 cousins Oendan 1 and 2 (those being japan only games that can be played without knowing Japanese) ![]() HOWEVER, despite that I think the DS line up by Nintendo is still pretty good, the thing is that most of the better Nintendo games made for it were mostly either new ip's or smaller series, which tend to get ignored and it doesn't help Nintendo barely advertised them at the time so as a result no one bought them and some interesting games stayed only in Japan. I have heard quite a few times, particularily in this site, that the DS has one of the weakest first party line ups by Nintendo and the console is mostly carried by the third party support, and I kind of get why some people say this, since despite Mario and Pokémon having a mostly fantastic run on it, other Nintendo big series had weak or dissapointing mainline entries (though not necessarily bad in some cases) like Zelda, Metroid, Fire Emblem, Golden Sun, Donkey Kong, Star Fox, Wario Land, or Kirby, plus Nintendo went really hard with the casual games, which unlike their Wii titles which could be enjoyed as party games by even more traditional players in most cases, on the DS they were mostly just made for casual audiences like Perosonal Trainer Cooking. ![]()
